Community Visitors Scheme
A Commonwealth Government Initiative
Nuhra Life Enrichment Centre - Community Visitors Scheme, provides visitors to aged care facilities within the inner suburbs of Perth. Volunteers are paired with residents who may have little or no contact with families and friends. The role of the volunteer is to befriend the resident and visit at least once per fortnight.
You can make a difference in someone else’s life simply by spending time with them. Nuhra is looking for people who would enjoy building a one on one relationship with a resident.
Volunteers must be over eighteen. Mothers with children welcome.
For more information or to become a volunteer phone 93286272 or email email@example.com
Nuhra holds regular Volunteer training and support sessions. Your Community Visitor Volunteer Coordinator will also be available for you to discuss any issues. Nuhra Life Enrichment Centre has other personal development and spiritual refreshment opportunities you may wish to access.
